Kl`rt has developed feelings for S'Byll, though he tries not to let them show. With some encouragement from the Silver Surfer, he does, and attacks Reptyl head on for S'Byll's honour. The battle is fought hard, but Reptyl rips out Kl'rt's throat and stands victorious. The Surfer is the only one who holds a funeral for Kl'Rt, leaving him to burn up when dropped into the planet's atmosphere.
