The Kree rebuild Midnight, a human warrior who mastered darkness, in order to set him against the Silver Surfer. They fight long and hard, delaying the Surfer from aiding the Skrulls. He rushes to the main battle when he notices the Skrulls are losing quite resoundingly; they are falling due in large part to Clumsy Foulup's betrayal, literally stabbing Reptyl in the back.
