Meanwhile, Mulholland Black has been captured by her former street gang The Black Dahlias, who have been working with S.H.A.D.O.W. But apparently when they deactivated the powers given to her by the Initiative, they reactivated her mutant powers. Now, trapped in a room saturated in pain, she has the power not only to escape... but also to exact her revenge.
