This movie centers on Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato), a small town girl who gets to go to a prestigious rock camp because her mom gets the camp cook job there. She then meets Shane Grey (Joe Jonas), a pop star whose reputation needs an overhaul. He is sent to Camp Rock to teach classes all summer. Mitchie, meanwhile, gets wrapped up in the experience, and begins to spill lies about her family and where she came from. Needless to say, trouble ensues, and it all leads up to the Final Jam.
