
The Second Hundred Years
Second Hundred Years was the story of a young ranch owner, and his great grandfather, a gunslinger who was frozen for over a hundred and fifty years. The great ancestor is thawed alive, and must learn to deal with "modern contraptions" with his wild west mentality. The fact that he is twins with his descendant leads to a few hilarious situations.
After 67 years frozen in an Alaskan glacier, Luke Carpenter is returned to his 67 year old son. The 19th century prospector has no knowledge of the 20th century and looks exactly like his stuck up button down grandson Ken.
To get a job, Luke has to file for a Social Security Card with humorous results.
Luke helps a female friend from his Alaskan days with a land claim on a San Francisco hotel that she has the deed to.
Luke tries to start a farm in his son's neighborhood and his neighbors object.
Can Luke succeed when he takes a job at his son's firm?
Luke and a church singing group get together.
Luke meets, falls in love and proposes to the Colonel's daughter.
Luke is arrested for robbery and has to prove his innocence.
Luke tries to join the Navy. To stop him they send his grandson Ken for the physical.
A telegram mix-up results from Ken receiving one met for Luke.
Naive Luke goes to work for an unscrupulous company.
Luke wants to help the granddaughter of a friend who he has served with in the Spanish-American War when her grandfather's reputation was tarnished.
