Two Doors Down
Comedy centred around a couple and their insufferable neighbours.
Because Eric left the freezer door open, Beth decides she has to cook it at once and invite everyone over to eat it all.
When the ceiling collapses on her after a row with Sophie Christine billets them both on Beth and Eric whilst Cathy arrives to show them her holiday hotel on her laptop but is shocked to find Colin has been downloading porn and also insists on staying. When Ian also turns up having argued with Taz Beth and Eric find themselves with an unexpected full house leading to another mishap.
Beth and Cathy attend Jaz and Ian's flat warming party, where Cathy gets very drunk and antagonizes a neighbour who has complained about the noise, ending with them all getting locked out of the flat. Eric and Colin prepare to watch tennis on television but whilst waiting have a game of their own and have to retrieve the ball from Christine's garden, resulting in an injury, a curry, and a mess on the floor before everybody ends up in front of the box.
On the eve of Eric's birthday he just wants peace and quiet but is interrupted by Jaz and Ian and Cathy and Colin, bearing alcoholic gifts - which they drink as Eric is on the wagon. They are followed by Christine, somewhat the worse for wear after attending a funeral, and Sophie who, along with Cathy and Colin, has a confession to make to the assembled company.
Whilst Beth listens patiently to Cathy talking about her progress at the self esteem group Christine locks Sophie in their garden shed and will not release her until she names her unborn baby's father - requiring Beth and Cathy to rescue her and attempt to reconcile the pair. Meanwhile Colin challenges Eric to a game of darts, which gets out of hand, leading to a fight between the neighbouring families.
Given a medical all clear Eric decides that he and Beth will take a last minute holiday to Turkey, which requires an early start to reach the airport .Unfortunately they are interrupted by Christine, anxious to show off photos of Sophie's scan, Jaz's horror stories of foreign travel and Cathy inviting everybody to sample her new hot tub. Eventually Beth and Eric make it to their flight but not before Beth, as usual, has had to stop her neighbours from arguing and Eric has had a mishap in the hot tub.
