Two Doors Down: Season 2

Cathy and Colin return from a luxury cruise strangely keen to persuade neighbours Eric and Beth to join them on their next trip.

The neighbours are woken up in the middle of the night by a car alarm going off. After meeting Eric in the street Colin and Christine invite themselves round to the Baird's with Cathy and Sophie not far behind.

Beth's plans for a nice, quiet, traditional Sunday Lunch collapse when Cathy and Colin arrive, in the middle of an argument. Jaz locks himself in the loo and everyone tucks into the food the Baird's have spent all morning preparing.

Colin decides to throw a party to celebrate his father's birthday and Cathy invites the neighbours round to join them for some posh nosh. Cathy tries to be the ultimate hostess but it is left to Beth to rescue the evening.

Christine comes round to the Bairds all in a panic. Her computer has frozen while she was in the middle of buying a present for Sophie's baby. Colin and Eric are preparing to travel to watch Scotland play in Latvia.

Beth has organised a baby shower for Sophie and everyone is invited - including Pat from over the back, who thinks she is going to be godmother. However, Sophie has already asked someone else and hasn't yet told her mum.

Cathy and Colin are off on a skiing trip so Beth and Eric are hoping for a quiet Christmas together. However an air traffic controllers' strike soon puts paid to that. With Sophie also marooned abroad Christine and grand-daughter Madison join the party along with Ian and new boyfriend Gordon, whom Christine inadvertently outs to his father on the phone. With tiny food portions and fractious guests hopefully Colin's surprise for Cathy and Eric's Santa act can lift spirits.
