Coach
Hayden Fox is the head coach of a university football team, and eats, sleeps and lives football. His partner, however, does not share his passion for the sport, which frequently causes friction in their relationship. While Hayden often fits the stereotype of dumb jock (as do his co-workers Luther and Dauber), he sincerely cares about his friends and family, and tries his best to make things work out.
When Hayden turns down an opportunity to attend an art exhibit with Christine, she takes Luther instead.
Dauber dates Hayden's archenemy, and is caught in the middle of their feuding.
Hayden is thrilled when Kelly and Stuart break up, but quickly realizes he needs Stuart's help to keep Kelly in school.
Kelly and Stuart announce their plans to wed, which makes Hayden flip out.
Coach undergoes hypnotism in order to overcome a nervous facial twitch, but with adverse affects.
Christine sets Luther up on a date with her next door neighbor, but Luther takes things way too fast.
Hayden and Christine plan a romantic celebration for their 3rd anniversary, but the plans are ruined by Kelly announcing that her marriage is over.
Luther and Hayden decide to invest in the Touchdown Club but, after a successful night under new ownership, the restaurant gets robbed.
Christine accidentally announces on television that Hayden has secretly recruited Bo Whitley.
Everybody expects Hayden to win the Curley O'Brien award, and he is upset when the award goes to another coach.
Hayden feels threatened when Kelly spends all her time with her in-laws instead of with him.
Hayden and Luther visit Memphis to attend a high profile coaches conference, but Coach soon learns that things are not as great as he had expected.
Hayden enrages Watkins when he declines to help in her fund-raising efforts. Christine gets salary negotiation tips from Hayden.
A one-night stand comes back to haunt Hayden when she reappears in Hayden's life as the new University President.
Hayden and Luther are left alone in Christine's apartment and accidentally destroy the place.
Hayden learns of his contractual requirement to teach a class and fills the classroom with football players from the team.
Luther entrusts Hayden with his beloved bird, who flies away. It is up to Coach to find Sunshine again before Luther returns.
Kelly takes a job working for Minnesota State, but quickly ducks out of her obligations when she has the chance to understudy with a Shakespeare theater--which doesn't sit well with Hayden.
When Christine and an ex-boyfriend attend the Opera, Hayden becomes jealous.
Dauber meets Judy's parents but everything goes wrong when he accidentally lets the Watkins' poodle jump out a six story hotel window.
