Coach
Hayden Fox is the head coach of a university football team, and eats, sleeps and lives football. His partner, however, does not share his passion for the sport, which frequently causes friction in their relationship. While Hayden often fits the stereotype of dumb jock (as do his co-workers Luther and Dauber), he sincerely cares about his friends and family, and tries his best to make things work out.
Hayden, Luther, and Dauber are excited to kickoff the season now that they have a chance to be a national contender, but their excitement is short lived with a freak injury to their new star quarterback moments before kickoff.
Hayden learns he has an abscessed tooth just before an upcoming game.
Hayden feels threatened when a high profile basketball coach is flirting with the thought of coaching for Minnesota State.
Hayden challenges Judy to a game of poker, only to lose everything he owns, including his self-respect.
While Christine is sick, Hayden sneaks out of the house to attend a party and comes back with a guest.
Hayden and Luther go on a recruiting trip the same night that Christine is to receive an award.
Hayden's plans for the future don't include Christine.
In the aftermath of his breakup with Christine, Hayden receives consolation from an unexpected source.
Luther decides to buy a log cabin, which would make Hayden and Luther neighbors.
Coach attends a support group to help him deal with the break up with Christine, but discovers that one of the fellow group members actually has a date with her.
A charity event forces Hayden to reminiscence about the first time he and Christine met.
Hayden gets a great Christmas gift from his ex-wife when he finds out that he is not a "marriage killer".
Dauber graduates Minnesota State and joins the coaching staff, but an argument about respect keeps Hayden from attending his graduation.
Hayden makes up a story about having a dog to impress a potential donor who loves canines.
Luther is persuaded by Christine to have lunch and reconcile with the best friend who stole his girl many years ago.
Hayden tries to protect Luther from finding out that his best friend has once again stolen his girl.
Hayden serves as mentor to a nerdy student (Rob Schneider) who will stop at nothing to fit in.
The Foxes take a ski vacation, but Stuart soon makes things unbearable for Hayden.
Hayden and the gang take Howard Burleigh to Las Vegas where they (along with Howard) discover Howard's wild side who appears to have run off with a showgirl.
Feeling threatened that Christine makes more money than he does, Hayden decides to moonlight by advertising for an athletic supporter company- but ends up mooning the entire state of Minnesota.
Hayden and Christine bump into Luther's long lost father.
A dentist who offers low prices on diamond jewelry inspires Hayden to make a deal with him in order to buy an engagement ring for Christine.
