"Duel To The Death With The Vulture" - A flying man known as the Vulture is making his mark on the city, completing daring crimes with ease and escaping before anyone can react. Spider-Man deduces the secret of his flying power, and uses that knowledge to stop the criminal, and sell some photos to J. Jonah Jameson, editor of Now Magazine.
"The Uncanny Threat of the Terrible Tinkerer!" - Peter has been hired by a local scientist to work in his lab, and his first errand is to retrieve a radio that was sent in for repairs. Having his suspicions aroused when he learns how cheaply the Tinkerer works. He investigates further, and finds out that the Tinkerer is working with aliens to plant spy devices in radios in order to prepare for global conquest. Spider-Man decides to intervene.
