Spider-Man vs. Doctor Octopus

Spider-Man is lamenting the lack of challenging villains when a lab accident fuses mechanical arms to the torso of Dr. Otto Octavius. The man now known as Dr. Octopus turns to a life of crime, and handily dispatches Spider-Man in their first encounter. Feeling dejected, Spider-Man almost retires, before an inspiring speech from the Human Torch helps him pull himself back together. He relies more on brains than fists in the second encounter with Doc Ock, while results in a far more favourable outcome.
