"Secret of the Power-Ringed Robot" - Hal tracks a spy toy from Ferris Air back to the hideout, where the criminals are guarded by radiation fatal to anyone not wearing one of their protective amulets. Hal changes himself into a robot to safely enter, but is soon trapped by electromagnets.

"Green Lantern's Explosive Week-End!" - Hal Jordan visits old friends, who try to set him up with Dorine Clay, a boarder of theirs. Though his heart belongs to Carol Ferris, he tries to win over Dorine as a matter of personal pride. Confused about her lack of response, Hal probes her mind, only to discover that she is actually an alien looking to find a way to free her people from slavery.
