"The Mysterious Mr. Doll" - Iron Man faces Mr. Doll, who uses a voodoo-type doll to extort victims into signing their fortunes over to him. Even with his new, lighter armour, Stark finds the strain on his heart to be incredible. The only way to beat Mr. Doll is to disconnect his heart machinery to dull the pain, but that puts a major time limit on when he can act.
"Kraddak" - A greedy mine operator meets an alien who predicts he'll die in a fatal fall. Striving to defeat fate, the man goes to the lowest point in one of his mines and lies down, hoping to make a fall impossible. It doesn't work.
"The Pact" - (prose) - Henry Conrad is researching his ancestor, who purpotedly made a pact with the devil, when he is visited by an uninvited guest with a story to tell.
