Detective Comics, Vol. 1

While patrolling the streets at night, the Batman spots his fiancee in a trance, ready to kill. He snaps her out of it and brings her home, telling her to describe her entire evening to Bruce Wayne the next day. She doesn't recall why she was going to attack that man, so Bruce takes her to a doctor, who suggests a trip to Europe. Once there, they are attacked by the Monk, who tries to capture Julie to feed his pet werewolves. Batman again escapes with Julie, but this time he follows the Monk to his castle in Hungary.
