The Batman witnesses a gangland shooting that takes the life of an F.B.I. agent. By the time the police arrive, Batman is the only suspect left on the scene, and he is forced to flee to avoid capture. Using notes found on the murdered G man, Batman realizes that Professor Hugo Strange is behind the crime wave and the mysterious fog blanketing the city, and he soon springs to action to bring the men to justice.
