The Batman is drawn into a case when he hears screaming from an isolated house. The man he rescues knocks Batman unconscious before killing his captors. Following a lead based on a single name he overheard, the Batman uncovers a ring of spies intent on blowing up a ship and blaming the U.S., triggering an international incident.
