The League are brought to the microscopic world of Starzl where three androids, protectors of the people of the world, ask for the League to help destroy themselves. The radiation that powers them is affecting the people and, unless they are destroyed, they will exterminate the race they were designed to protect. The guardians, however, are invulnerable and resist all the League's attacks.Batman figures out that, on this world, if you are told something you believe it so they bring Snapper Carr to them as he has not heard any of the protector's claims. One by one, Snapper defeats them and the League return to Earth.
