The entire League is kidnapped by an "ultra-galactic being" that calls itself "I". Each time the League has acted as a tema and defeated their numerous enemies, the victories have drained "I" of its life energy, forcing it to kidnap them to prevent them inadvertently killing it. As they all retain their powers when acting alone, they attempt to defeat "I" but are unsuccessful. Believing itself to have won, "I" returns the League to Earth where they decide to disband and never work together again.Snapper Carr has the idea to utilise Amazo, freeing the android so that it can use the League's powers to attack and defeat them. By using its powers as a "team", Amazo unknowingly drains "I" of its power, allowing the League to regain their own powers and success as a team. Restored, they quickly defeat Amazo.
