On Earth-Two, four normal people are struck by black spheres which turn them into super-villains.At a meeting of the Justice Society, Robin is formally admitted as a member; each of the heroes decide to team up and tackle the super-villains but are all routinely defeated by the new villains. They decide to bring the Justice League to their Earth and dispatch the Thunderbolt to bring them. The League appear battered and bruised as they had been fighting villains powered by black spheres on Earth-One. The Thunderbolt explains that the spheres come from a different universe and are, in fact, alien beings that will eventually gain control over their hosts.
