The Warbound fend off Horde, and manage to allow several more humans to escape before an overzealous general attacks them from outside the dome. The attack breaks Hiroim's concentration, and the tunnel seals itself around several hundred innocent people. Hiroim now realizes that his powers were boosted by the Leader's machines, and he's powerful enough to feel the humans within. Knowing he can't get them out before the dome permanently harms them, he decides to take down the dome instead. He and Korg stay behind to take out the generators, while the others create a distraction. When they are alone, Hiroim admits that there is no generator, and that the dome is feeding off him directly. He asks Korg to kill him to save all of their lives.
The backup story features Miek revealing Korg's past.
