Hiroim continually manipulates his battle with Korg closer and closer to innocent people, striving to get Korg to kill him and save them all. He eventually falls, but not until after Dr. Waynesboro realizes that she'd miscalculated the effects of the dome, and that the nature of the radiation not only mutated people, but also kept them alive. Fortunately this realization comes in time for Hiroim to pull himself together. They are about to refocus on the Leader, when S.H.I.E.L.D. robots demand their attention.
In the backup story, Miek reveals the history of No-Name of the Brood.
