Justice League of America, Vol. 1

As the League prepares to honour the Martian Manhunter, the Red Tornado arrives from Earth-Two, accidentally destroying the statue of the Manuhunter. At that moment, an alarm is sounded and the League, without the Tornado, leave to find Hawkman has been turned to salt.Batman discovers a modern-day wizard who tries to flee the area, saving him from a motorbike gang whose leader has been turned to salt. The League take him to the sanctuary where he confesses to having summoned a demon who, in turn, fought Hawkman and turned him to salt.Hawkgilr is kidnapped by the bike gang who want the League to release the wizard; posing as the wizard, Superman rescues her.Eventually the League tackle the demons while, with some help from the Red Tornado, the spell is reversed and Hawkman and the others returned to life.
