Justice League of America, Vol. 1

At a charity funfair, Superman displays his skills by juggling three elephants while the Queen of Spades disguises herself as Lois Lane in order to get close to him. Catching him off guard, she manages to subdue him before escaping. Aboard the JLA satellite, Green Arrow relieves Elongated Man of monitor duty and he and Black Canary attempt to track Wonder Woman who they find unconcious after her battle with the King of Spades. Taking her to the same hospital that treats Aquaman and Firestorm, they are told that something appears to be draining their brains. Back aboard the satellite, Green Arrow is attacked by Ten of Spades and despite seeming to beat her, is in turn defeated by her. Following a lead about the technology the Royal Flush Gang are using, Elongated Man and Canary sneak into a computer factory only to be attacked by the owner of the factory. When subdued, however, he has no idea who they are or why he attacked them. Unknown to the heroes, Hector Hammond psychically watches having orchestrated the whole thing.
