Justice League of America, Vol. 1

Returning to the JLA satellite, Black Canary and Elongated Man find the unconcious Green Arrow and between them overcome the Ten of Spades. Arrow is transported to the hospital where the rest of the League is being treated and when questioned, Ten is prevented from revealing anything by the mental power of the mastermind behind the Royal Flush Gang, Hector Hammon. The only one who knows Hammond is behind things is Prof Martin Stein, the immaterial part of Firestorm. Other members of the League attack the Royal Flush Gang's headquarters and appear defeated. The Gang then turn on each other, Jack revealing that Ace is a robot who is then destroyed by Black Canary. Jack reveals he cut a deal with Canary and helps her defeat King and Queen. In the hospital, the mental projections of Stein and Hammond battle with Stein winning outright. As Hammond's presence fades, so the League recover.
