Superman has managed to escape the Phantom Zone, but the situation he faces on Earth is even more dangerous. General Zod has lead a group of Kryptonian criminals in a bid to conquer the Earth in an attempt to re-establish Krypton. His super-powered forces have already captured every hero who has opposed them forcing Kal-El to ally himself with his most deadly enemy... Lex Luthor. Reassembling the Superman Revenge Squad, and equipping themselves with anti-Kryptonian weapons of Luthor's design, they prepare to re-take Metropolis. But Lex has hidden a hitch or two in the plan that might leave the Earth without any Kryptonians at all... if Luthor has his way.
