In a story set just before the League took up residence in the satellite, Flash and Hawkman are merged with an alien entity as they teleport up to the satellite. The other League members are attacked by the three composite beings that result from the merger who then scour the satellite for as much information as possible.Tapping into Aquaman's mind to use his telepathic abilities also allows Aquaman to pick up its thoughts and realize its intentions. Managing to separate the alien from the two heroes and return them to normal, the League find the alien joined to the satellite's computer and manage to overload it. The alien is kept in a dormant state in the JLA satellite computer.
