Now that Quincy Harker's skull has been destroyed, Great Britain is open to Dracula's invasion. As vampires board Captain Fate's vessel for the two-day trip to Earth, Pete Wisdom is trying desperately to pull a defense together. But none of Britain's allies will stand with her. Even the Iron Patriot, Norman Osborn, claims his hands are tied. Signalled by Spitfire, Pete leads the team out to meet with her in the hopes that she has escaped Dracula's influence. Instead, they find her leading Dracula's forward scouts, who have been infiltrating since the skull was destroyed.
