"Iron Man Is Born!" - While in Vietnam to ensure the successful operation of weapons he designed for the U.S. military, Tony Stark is injured by a Viet Cong booby trap. With shrapnel approaching his heart, he has mere days to live. Tyrant Wong-Chu promises a cure if Stark will build him a weapon. Stark agrees, but only to give himself an opportunity to end Wong-Chu's menace. With the help of fellow prisoner Professor Yinsen, he constructs a suit of armour capable of keeping his heart beating. Though Yinsen sacrificed his life in the process, Iron Man thoroughly and publicly defeats Wong-Chu.
"The Last Rocket!" - An alien civilization faces extinction due to a dying sun. All but two of its population abandon the planet to form new lives elsewhere. The last two refuse to abandon their heritage. However, things don't turn out quite as planned, when the original star dies and is replaced by a new, vital star.
"Gundar!" - A man is shipwrecked on an island filled with Vikings who have been trapped for centuries. They were unfairly cursed by their former captain, and are unable to leave without Gundar's permission.
