Mighty Joe Young

Jill Young (Charlize Theron) was just a child in Africa when her mother was killed trying to stop guerilla poachers. The incident left her and a young guerilla alone where they became family to one another. Now, Jill is a beautiful adult and Joe has grown into a 15 foot adult guerilla. They still live in the jungle and are a legend among the locals. Professor Gregg O’hara (Bill Paxton) encounters the pair and talks Jill into taking Joe back to America to keep him safe from poachers. Once there, he attracts the attention of an evil hunter from Joe’s past who is out for revenge. It is his goal to make Joe go wild so that he will be kicked out of the institution and come to live on his estate in Africa. Once there, Joe will be his for the killing. Jill and Gregg now have to work to save Joe’s life and find him a place he can be safe and happy.
