Taking place during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Eve Macarro begins her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma.



An assassin trained in the traditions of the Ruska Roma organization sets out to seek revenge after her father's death.



A young woman remembers the time when as a little girl she witnessed her father getting killed by cult members. She is then adopted by a society of assassins and trained for many years to become a ballerina, body guard and assassin. She performs well in all these activities to the satisfaction of her superiors. Her heart however is made up to seek vengeance against the killers of her father. Despite being warned not to take up this dangerous mission she goes ahead and single handedly wages war against them.

SYNOPSIS

Eve Macarro is the daughter of assassins Javier of the Ruska Roma crime syndicate and Javier's Cultist wife. As a child, Eve was taken away from the Cult by Javier which led to the death of Javier's wife. To retrieve Eve, the Cult and the Cult's Chancellor raid Javier's home. Javier fights the cult and dies due to a gun shot but manages to help Eve escape. New York Continental manager Winston Scott brings Eve to the Ruska Roma where the Director agrees to enlist Eve as a part of Ruska Roma.

Over the next 12 years, Eve trains as a ballerina, assassin, and bodyguard. Eve briefly meets John Wick when John Wick visits the Director for a safe passage. Eve completes training by killing another Ruska Roma member in the final test and earns the title of Kikimora. Eve successfully protects her first ward on her first mission.

While on a mission two months later, Eve is attacked by and kills a Cultist. Seeking revenge, Eve asks the Director about the Cult but the Director forbids Eve from pursuing the cult due to a longstanding truce between the Cult and the Ruska Roma. Eve disobeys the Director and visits the New York Continental to meet Winston. Winston reveals that the Cult is separate from most other organized crime syndicates as the Cult is uncivilized. Winston informs Eve that one Cultist, Daniel Pine, is staying at the Prague Continental with a large bounty. Eve travels to Prague Continental and infiltrates Pine's room where Eve discovers Pine is hiding his daughter Ella from the Cult. Cult member Lena increases the bounty on Pine, causing several assassins to descend upon Pine's hotel room. Pine entrusts Ella to Eve, promising Eve to give information on the Cult. As Eve, Ella and Pine exit the hotel, Cultist Dex shoots Pine, while Lena incapacitates Eve and kidnaps Ella. The Prague Continental staff execute two captured assassins for conducting business on continental grounds and spare Eve after determining that Eve did not break any Continental rules.

Eve attempts to purchase weapons from an arms dealer named Frank but the Cult attacks Frank's shop. After Eve kills the assailants, Frank helps Eve to narrow down the location of the Cult's base in Hallstatt, Austria. Eve enters the town and visits a restaurant. Eve is attacked by the town's people and Eve understands that the entire town is part of the Cult. Eve fights back but is eventually captured and brought to the Chancellor. The Chancellor reveals that Pine is his son and Ella is his granddaughter. While talking with Eve, the Chancellor understands who Eve is and informs Lena. Eve breaks free before being cornered in a cabin by Lena who reveals that Lena is Eve's older sister. The Chancellor orders to kill Lena and Eve. The cultists bomb the cabin and kill Lena but Eve manages to escape.

The Chancellor calls the Director to declare war on the Ruska Roma. However, the Director explains that Eve went rogue and appeases the Chancellor by hiring John Wick to kill Eve. John Wick arrives at Hallstatt in a train. John Wick finds and quickly defeats Eve but Eve pleads for revenge, prompting John Wick to give time until midnight to kill the Chancellor. Eve raids the cult's armory and resumes fighting the Cult while John Wick assists Eve from a distance killing several other Cultists including Dex. The Chancellor attempts to flee with Ella. Eve corners and kills the chancellor and rescues Ella. John Wick informs the Director of the Chancellor's demise.

Ella is reunited with a recovering Pine at the Prague Continental. Eve seeks refuge at the New York Continental, having left the Ruska Roma, and is warned by Winston that the surviving members of the Cult will seek revenge against Eve. While attending a ballet performance by Tatiana in a theater, Eve learns of a $5 million bounty on Eve and leaves the theater.
