Comedian Eddie Izzard is somewhat abnormal. This is exemplified by his popular characterization of a transvestite business executive. These characters along with many others are present in this film which consists primarily of Izzard’s life performance in San Francisco. Eddie’s unique brand of sketch comedy is on full display as his topics diversely range from the moon landing to a rather complete history of pagan practice. Izzard’s performance is both extremely funny and also extremely poignant as he comments on a variety of social and political issues throughout the show, and provides a great deal of thought and intelligence behind his rather outlandish material.
