"Monty Python's And Now For Something Completely Different" (1971) is a collection of popular sketches from the British sketch comedy show “Monty Python’s Flying Circus.” The Monty Python comedy troupe included John Cleese, Michael Palin, Graham Chapman, and Terry Jones. The show was aired on the BBC for at least 9 years and the troupe quickly gained international attention, touring with a live show in 1976. This movie collects together well-known Python sketches including “The Lumberjack Song,” “Nudge, Nudge,” “Hell’s Grannies,” “Blackmail,” “How to Avoid Being Seen,” “Upperclass Twit of the Year,” and “Deadly Joke.” The sketches were reshot with more props and better costumes from the original tv versions.
