Pawn Stars
Rick Harrison and his family own and run a pawn shop on the Las Vegas strip. They buy, sell, and appraise items of historical value.
Rick buys a speedboat that needs a lot of work. Worse, the seats are too narrow for Chmlee and Big Hoss. The Old Man sends Chumlee on an errand but he turns up missing. An artist pitches his line of gold devil figurines.
An ancient bell, a roulette wheel, a minibike, and a couple Scotish daggers find a home at the Pawn Shop. Big Hoss restores the minibike and, of course, Chumlee gives it a test drive.
When a customer brings in an electric shock therapy device into the shop Chumlee is the obvious test subject. Rick gets excited by an off road vehicle which he can't wait to test drive. Unfortunately, Big Hoss and Chumlee got their hands on it first. Then a customer arrives with some sunken treasure.
Chum gets to test fire another gun. This time it's a double barreled flintlock shotgun Rick acquired in trade. A customer questions Chumlee's and Big Hoss's appreciation of Pez dispensers.
Customers bring some unusual items into the pawn shop; a NASCAR trophy, a combination gun and key, miniature portraits of Napoleon and Josephine, a carved tusk and a life sized power range figure. One turns out to be a fake. Rick negotiates to sell the gun to Sean, his gun expert, but Chumlee is nowhere to be seen to test fire it.
The Pawn Stars have a chance to buy a saddle that may have been used by Kevin Costner in Dances with Wolves. Will the gang pony-up and make the deal or will they let it ride off into the sunset? Then Rick looks to buy a late 1800s Winchester rifle that was one of first lever-action repeating rifles ever made.
It seems Chumlee knows his pinball which is convenient since a customer wants to sell his. He also takes a liking to Segway. A woman shows Rick a Saint-Gaudens double eagle hoping for a measly $600 and is pleasantly surprised.
Rick stirs emotions when he explains to the old man why he bought a wrecked helicopter then questions the authenticity of customers' baseball cards and a George Washington signature. Two are delighted and the third barely controls his temper.
Chumlee is once again the butt of the Old Man's derogatory comments. Customers bring in a some exceptional items including a 19th century cuckoo clock, a silver spoon purportedly by Paul Revere and a combination compound-recurve archery bow.
It's a day of classics as customers bring in a confederate sword, an antique toy wagon, a rare motorcycle and a broken down antique printing press. Rick's unhappy with the condition of the motorcycle bought by Corey but an auction will tell who's right.
Chumlee goes to his first auction to buy a fortune teller machine. Rick looks at a pepper box and a Baja Bug. Once again, Chumlee is on the box to test fire an old gun.
Rick gets after Corey about inventory management. Deals are difficult to close at but Rick picks up and remarkable antique sundial. During the cleanup Big Hoss turns up a valuable statue in the store room.
A customer is incensed when Risk demonstrates his statue is a fake. Customers haggle hard over a Luo Gerig jersey and a poker chip. Rick has a badly damaged glider refurbished for Chumlee to test fly.
The Pawn Stars have a chance to buy one of the quietest air crafts ever made - a vintage Schweizer glider. Will the gang soar into a good deal and restore this glider to its high flying status or will they take it too close to the sun and get burned? Then Corey meets a man selling an autographed jersey of famed New York Yankees icon Lou Gehrig.
Rick does some hard bargaining to get his hands on a Grammy then explains that a silver coin and a musket are fakes. Chumlee tries out a rickshaw. Big Hoss buys a Coca Cola cooler and looks to restore it for a big return.
A customer brings in a diving helmet that won't fit on Chumlee's head. Rick buys a questionable Austin Healey. Rick and his customers consider some creative deals.
A rat patrol lunch box, a cigar store Indian and an antique coffee grinder walk into the store. But an original film of FDR really stirs interest. Big Hoss and Chumlee race an obstacle course.
Rick is embarrassed by a collection of campaign buttons but makes it up with a nickel plated Colt revolver. Big Hoss picks up a high end espresso machine and Chumlee puts it to work.
Rick gets a looks at some classic Americana; a 1946 juke box, a Chevrolet Impala station wagon and a Revolutionary War bond and buys two of them.
The Pawn Stars are presented with a classic 1946 Sebring Jukebox. Will the gang tune up their wallets and hit a high note of a deal, or will it become the day the music died? Then Rick and Corey meet a man hoping to sell a 1775 Massachusetts war bond but is there something special hidden in the engraving?
Rick looks at an antique train set, an unusual 19th century stamp-coin, at Datsun 280ZX, and an antique tricycle. But it's the Goldfinger screen play that gets Chumlee confused.
Rick refurbishes a virtual wreck of a classic off-road motorcycle more because he wants to ride it than resell it. A customer brings in a 300 year old gold coin of questionable authenticity. Then Chumlee is stunned when Rick accepts a first offer.
The son of an Iwo Jima landing craft coxswain brings in his father's invasion documents. The Old Man does some light refurbishing of a classic F-100 Pickup.
The Pawn Stars are presented with an engraved whale's tooth believed to be authentic 1800's scrimshaw. Can the gang make a whale of an offer or will it be a fluke? Then, the Old Man sets his sights on a pair of mysterious Civil War era rifles.
Customers arrive with unusual items to sell including; scrip coins, baseball field passes, a gold bar from a sunken treasure, and a B-29 bomber part.
Rick and the Old Man argue about the age and authenticity of a commemorative coin. A customer brings in a totem to bring peace and harmony to the pawn shop. Big Hoss buys a fake.
Rick restores a first-class traveler's trunk and looks into the history of a kris sword.
Rick and the old man look at another old airplane that needs refurbishing. Then Rick investigates a document that may have been signed by Andrew Jackson.
A customer wants to sell a bowling ball mortar he built which, of course, needs to be test fired by Chumlee. And that's not the only potential purchase with the potential to explode. But a gas mask for babies really bugs Rick.
A Civil War flask has shades of espionage. A Who contract for Woodstock is bought as a gift for Rick. Another customer brings in an old set of dueling pistols.
Rick checks out a Remington revolver reportedly associated with Teddy Roosevelt. Rick authenticates a US Cavalry bugle that a customer trades for an engagement ring. A customer wants to sell a gift from Richard Nixon.
The Pawn Stars have a chance to purchase a rare piece of American political history - a collection of personal letters from Kennedy brothers John, Bobby, and Teddy. Written during the height of the Camelot era, will the gang run a tough campaign to make a deal or will their election funds come up short?
A musket from the civil war looks too good to be true. A flag from Apollo 16 also merits verification. Rick meets his match with an old woman who's ready to haggle.
