Imagine waking up after surgery and not being able to move from the neck down. This is the journey of recovery and trying to stay sane, learning to discover a new dream and purpose, and embracing the current situation.A girl with a rare genetic disorder explains her condition and shares about growing up. At age 24 she went in for an operation on her neck and back. It's a risky surgery, but she had confidence in her surgeon. He made it seem like there were no concerns. After the surgery she is told there were complications and she is unable to feel her arms and legs like before. Follow her through the before and after of this life changing event.
