"The Number of the Beast," Iron Maiden's most successful album, is admired by fans for its focus and loathed by critics for supposed satanic messages. Album producer Martin Birch studies it song by song in this documentary. The film also looks at some of the complaints against the band through interviews with rock journalists, taking viewers inside one of the most infamous heavy metal groups of all time.
