Epidemia ( Vongozero ) ( To The Lake: Season 2 )

Four friends unprepared for apocalypse are trapped in remote house in Karelia. They meet army deserter Zhenya. Supplies dwindle, utilities fail, tensions rise.

The heroes struggle to survive without supplies in an abandoned base, haunted by recent losses. A girl's sudden appearance forces them to flee into the perilous open wilderness.

Nastya brings the heroes to their native pagan community, where no one knows about the virus and the global epidemic. Polina and Misha, in a fit of passion, do something irreparable. After that, the lives of all travelers are in danger.

The heroes join a group led by Zhenya and head to a refugee camp in Europe, but a conflict causes them to split up. Taras, Alyona, Ezis and Sonya reach the border first. However, they have no idea what awaits them at their destination.

Lena's condition worsens. The Karelian sorceress Lakka comes to the aid of the heroes. Anton is jealous of his mother for Nastya and tries to poison the girl with herbs. The heroes notice the malaise in time and save Nastya, but the trouble does not escape her.

Orthodox pilgrim Rodion lost his family from a virus halfway to the Solovetsky Monastery. From grief, he went mad and stayed on the train in which they rode. Rodion takes Nastya for his dead daughter. Anton and Marina go in search of the girl.

Lakka has a vision and asks the heroes to leave immediately. It turns out that the train is still running, and the heroes decide to go to Solovki. The Chinese Deshen Lin sneaks into the train at full speed. He tries to hide from the Russian military who are chasing him.

The heroes, together with the military, get to a penal colony, where they are attacked by a group of former teenage prisoners. Zhenya and Degtyarev manage to neutralize them. Having reached the lighthouse on the shore of the White Sea, the heroes give a signal to the inhabitants of the Solovetsky Monastery. But, it turns out, the virus got here too.
