Theatre Ghost

Plot

Alden proctor is fourteen and self conscious about her weight. She has no idea how to really talk to boys-or girls for that matter-but she’s hoping for a fresh start. After her mom accepts a job to save an old theatre from ruin, Alden thinks that their move from Michigan and a run down Vaudeville theatre might be the chance she’s been waiting for.
When Alden begins clearing the theatre’s backstage office, she meets Walter, the old caretaker, and Julie, another fourteen year old, who sneaks in tap dancing practice on the stage. As Alden makes friends she starts to feel like she might belong, but hers might not be the only community in the theatre.
There are legends of ghosts that haunt the pant ages theater-ghosts who perform under the ghost light. But the real questions is: are these ghosts friends or foes?
