A follow-up to Blakey's prior "Arabesque" book, many more floral and swirly designs that can be created in a variety of lace styles. She says: "All the patterns may be made in a variety of laces: Duchesse, Honiton, Milanese, Carrickmacross, Needlelace, Withof...." Some patterns might have Duchesse mainly but Bucks honeycomb ground as well.
Blakey specifically says she won't repeat techniques that are available in many other books, so it's not for beginners this time. But there are some glossary examples.
Floral circular mats, pretty corners, love knot, tulips, candle ring, water lily, hearts, sprays.
