Kinderen geen bezwaar is a Dutch comedy series which takes place in ' normal' Dutch family. The series mainly revolves about what happens in the family.
Seven years ago Gerard and Maud learned to know each other by means of a contact advertisement. Gerard is approximately 12 years older than Maud. They got married not long after they met. He cooks, brushes and does the laundry, in fact everything in house and Maud works as psychotherapist with practice at their home. Maud has a daughter Julia from her first marriage. Julia is adored Gerard's son Daan, from his 'previous' life. Daan always tries everything to get Julia, but he succeeds seldom.
Julia and Maud battle over who needs the most expensive make-up and Gerard thinks he has a valuable painting in the attic.
Daan and Julia exchange with two Belgian peers. Maud and Gerard think that Flemish children are very good and calm. That turns out to be a mistake.
Gerard and Maud try to set a better example. When Julia rejects him for the umpteenth time, Zane takes measures he finds another girl.
Julia has started to stutter. Gerard is concerned about this, but Maud suspects other reasons.
Gerard's snoring takes Maud's sleep. Inke wants to spend the night with Daan, but he prefers to stay somewhere else.
Julia leaves for Spain for three months and Maud has a very difficult time with it, which Gerard finds annoying. Fortunately, Inke comes to Daan's door.
Gerard is very happy with Daan's new girlfriend Inke. Daan is fine with that, but Maud is less happy with it.
Gerard's belief in himself is beyond science. Illusionist Hans Klok comes to Maud precisely because he no longer knows what to believe in.
Gerard tries to make his daydream come true. Inke is one major battle of attrition for Daan.
Daan doesn't know what to do with his life. Maud does have therapy for him.
Camping or hotel holiday? Gerard wants to put it to the test in order to settle the battle. Not everyone shares their enthusiasm.
Maud doesn't think Gerard is a real man. Gerard invites a number of other ladies to prove otherwise. Daan likes to participate.
Gerard may have fathered another son, almost 30 years ago. Daan wonders what the influence of his actions is.
Gerard decides to stand the test of time. Inke oppresses Daan too much. He takes another girlfriend.
Maud stole money from a friend. Inke ensures that Daan has extra income.
One Albert comes to spend his old age with the family. Meanwhile, Inke is doing her sales.
Inke and Daan participate in an on-line raffle. Meanwhile Gerard is worrying about the end of the world and Maud had lost her voice.
Gerard has found a particularly pleasant remedy for his cough. To spare Daan, Inke amuses herself.
Great Grandma comes to inspect Inke, but maybe Gerard has more to fear from her.
Inke will do anything to bind Daan to him. Gerard helps her practice. Maud makes a bid for mayor.
Gerard has trouble with Maud's professional secrecy and therefore plays it through his feet. Inke thinks she loves Daan more than he loves her.
Gerard has booked a holiday in Spain. His expectations are high. This is also the case with Daan's.
Gerard prepares for the end. Inke tries to be in the here and now.
Zane has discovered that he is a monster. Gerard makes the same discovery about Maud.
Daan has a crush on the maid's daughter. Maud forgets Gerard's name for a second.
Maud insults Gerard with an experiment and Daan tests Inke's boundless love.
Maud and Gerard have to fill in on the amateur stage. Inke also wants to take on a different role for Daan from time to time.
Inke has to get rid of something. Daan too, but he shouldn't know that. In the meantime, with the help of Gerard, he starts his speech.
It's Inke's birthday, but doesn't want to do anything about it. And Gerard counts himself rich with vibraphone lessons.
Grandma is coming to celebrate her birthday and Daan wants a button on his shirt.
Gerard prepares for a high visit, while Inke recovers from her lower urges.
