Brothers & Sisters
Brothers & Sisters is a drama from executive producers Ken Olin and Jon Robin Baitz. The LA-based Walker family is an ordinary American family. The adult siblings -- Sarah Walker (formerly Whedon), Tommy Walker, Kevin Walker, Justin Walker, and Kitty Walker -- try to live up to their parents' expectations. Alongside their mother Nora Holden, Nora's brother Saul Holden, Sarah's husband (now ex-husband) Joe Whedon, Tommy's wife Julia Walker, Kevin's husband Scotty Wandell and mysterious Holly Harper. And last but not least Rebecca, Holly's daughter. Who they originally thought was their half sister but later found out they had a half brother, Ryan instead, the Walkers struggle through their everyday lives.
By the end of summer, Nora has not heard from Justin in Iraq for three weeks. Kitty takes a break from campaigning to be with her family, and they insist on taking her out on her birthday. Sarah has sex with Joe, but what does it mean?
Justin returns from Iraq, but with severe injuries. Nora wants to help him as much as she can, but that may be too much. Sarah asks Joe to move back home, but he has different plans. Kitty gets Robert in trouble at a radio talk show.
Kevin defends Scott in a DUI case; Justin continues to refuse medication; Julia decides to take her daughter and move back home to Arizona temporarily; Robert's ex-wife plans to tell all on the Larry King show.
Kitty and Nora take Sarah to a spa on her wedding anniversary. Justin is tempted to relieve his pain. Scotty sees Saul at a gay party and Kevin confronts his uncle. Tommy is desperate about Julia leaving and looks for comfort.
On the eve of Robert's televised debate appearance, Kitty finds out she is pregnant - and the rumor runs through the family. Sarah is shocked when Joe seeks primary custody of their children.
Kitty brings in an old acquaintance to help handle her pregnancy's impact on Robert's campaign. Rebecca discovers Justin's new drug habit. Paige doesn't respond well to her parents' new custody arrangement.
Rebecca reveals Justin's painkiller addiction to the family, and they stage an intervention. Robert is on the campaign trail, but is under pressure privately and professionally. Saul reveals a secret that astonishes his sister.
Kitty plans her wedding, but can't seem to make it feel like her own. Nora rediscovers her boyfriend from forty years ago, A business consultant uses his charm on Sarah, Julia returns to Tommy, and things happen between Kevin and Scotty.
The day of Kitty and Robert's wedding arrives amid fears that a damaging story will break about Robert's war record. Justin asks Lena to the wedding, and Tommy feels the pressure. Kevin brings Scotty, but Jason is still on his mind.
Revelations about Robert's actions in combat hit his campaign hard, but Isaac comes up with a plan. Nora invites her children to dinner along with Isaac, who she has feelings for. Rebecca meets David, Holly's lover returned from the past.
Jason returns from Malaysia and comes to see Kevin. Sarah goes to San Francisco with Graham Finch to make a deal with a Chinese businessman. Lena comes to a crossroads in her relationship with Justin. Nora goes on a date with Isaac.
Robert McCallister is fighting for the Republican presidential nomination, and the pressure is getting to him. Sarah gets her divorce papers. Kevin takes her out to a gay bar where he hopes to impress Scotty's friends.
Robert loses the final round of primaries and the chance to be president. Three months later, he and Kitty are getting help to try and have a baby, Isaac asks Nora to move to Washington with him, and Rebecca learns more about her father.
Rebecca awaits the results of her paternity test. Presidential nominee Taylor comes to see Robert about a job. When Scotty gets a medical bill he can't pay, Kevin has a practical solution. Sarah must decide how much faith she has in Saul.
Fate has much in store for the Walkers. The bankruptcy of the company Ojai has just entered into business with means the future of the family company is in jeopardy. Sarah takes the blame even though Saul approved the deal without her consent, and Nora insists they go to Tommy and Holly for help. Justin battles the feelings that he developed for Rebecca when he learned she might not be his sister; Rebecca finally confronts her mother about the fact that she isn't. Saul crashes his car while under the influence, and he has a confession to make. And what can Kevin do to make it up to Scotty for his unromantic marriage proposal?
Kevin and Scotty plan a quick and simple wedding, but Nora does her bit to make it special. Kevin visits Scotty's parents to convince them to attend. When the news spreads that Rebecca is not a Walker, Sarah starts digging into the past.
