Drazin carefully dissects many of the claims made by Christianity and compares the Christian texts with the Jewish texts to find out if Christianities claims are valid. He provides chapter and verse for each passage he examines and the reader is able to follow along in their own bible and see if Drazin's claims are correct. While certain points require a knowledge of Jewish tradition, such as tribal membership following the paternal line (important for Jesus to have been a member of the tribe of Judah, and impossible if Joseph was not Jesus's biological father), the majority of his points are based on direct comparision of scriptural claims between the Christian and Jewish texts.

Drazin does succumb to gloating at points, and that takes away from the otherwise scholarly nature of the work. Rational explanations exist for many of his less-than-scholarly complaints and those points could have been left out without detracting from the overall message of his work. I give him 5 stars for scholarship, and take back one of them for the gloating he does.

In the end, no one who isn't already convinced of the rightness of either Christianity or Judaism is likely to be swayed by this book.
