Kevin Green has been lied to and manipulated by the insidious Colonel Samuels almost since he became Prime. But on his last errand for Samuels, Prime found himself forced to absorb the force of a nuclear detonation to save the lives of a group of innocent peace activists... people that Samuels told him were terrorists.

Flying in with a head full of rage, Kevin's determined to be free of Samuels. But unfortunately, within the Prime body, Kevin still wears a collar able to disrupt his concentration and break him out of his transformation. However, his father has finally called in an expert. He's hired the mercenary Firearm to find and rescue his son.
