Veep
From Armando Iannucci (The Thick of It) comes a look into American politics, revolving around former Senator Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) who finds being Vice President of the United States is nothing like she expected and everything everyone ever warned her about.
During her book signing tour for her new autobiography "Some New Beginnings," Selena receives some interesting news. Meanwhile, Mike is getting married, and Amy and Dan fight over a coveted promotion.
Following POTUS' new stance on abortion, Selina is forced to reconsider hers. Jonah starts a consulting firm outlet called Ryantology. Kent flirts with Sue.
While Selina and her staff prepare for an Annapolis event where she will announce her candidacy, Dan gets word that SNL has done a not-so-flattering sketch on the Veep.
On a fundraising trip in Silicon Valley, Selina is challenged by an anti-fracking mom and visits the campus of Clovis, a tech company with an ambitious young CEO. Also, Back in D.C., Jonah makes a crude viral video of the Selina/mom encounter.
As Amy and Dan vie for position as Selina's campaign manager, Ben arranges a secret lunch for the Veep with hotshot strategist Bill Ericsson. Meanwhile, Mike tries to maintain his strict fertility schedule; Jonah is offered a job on Maddox's team.
At an economic summit in Detroit, Selina's staff and her family are peeved by the presence of her new personal trainer, Ray. Meanwhile, Jonah and Mike negotiate a photo-op with Selina and Maddox. Later, Catherine protects her mom from a protestor, and Selina attends a women's gun show.
Crossover episode with Armando Iannucci's previous political sitcom The Thick of It.
As the candidates of the party kick off their first debate, some prove more nefarious than their appearance, while other crack under the pressure.
Thornhill is ahead in the polls, so Selina and her staff discuss how to make her more folksy. Needing a job, Jonah meets with Bill Ericsson, then asks his mom to contact his influential Uncle Jeff. Selina endures an interview with pretentious journalist Quincy Carter.
Season Three Finale. Three days before the New Hampshire primary, Selina and her staff juggle her multiple official obligations and campaign appearances.
