The canister Catwoman broke open contains Todd Russell, experimental subject who has Clayface's powers. He's out and he's not going back, despite the best efforts of the S.T.A.R. Labs security men, who inadvertently provide him a way out. Catwoman must dive *through* him to escape those security men. Nearby, Hush is displeased. He never expected her to bring him something dangerous, but correctly believed she could not resist the challenge of such a theft if correctly motivated, and might take herself off the board, leaving him free to concentrate on Bruce Wayne. She steals a Mercedes but crashes it because she's hurt and rattled. To recharge, she grabs some shuteye. GCPD officers and detectives find the car, and a little of the goop that makes up a Clayface, which Sam Bradley sends to the lab (also angrily ordering his partner Lenehan to knock off the lacivious comments about Catwoman's relationship with Sam's father Slam Bradley). Batman wakes up Selina, gives her a kiss, and turns into Clayface! It's a nightmare, but Hush on her roof is very real. In retaliation for her failure he has called supervillain contacts all over the nation and informed them that Gotham's East End has only a single protector with no powers. As she looks over the skyline she cna see the results of that beginning...
