The Lord of Misrule

Chester takes some friends, including the Holland family, to New Orleans for the Mardi Gras. Once there, Chester explains about the Lord of Misrule and other traditions of the day. Swamp Thing grows himself some flowers as he explains, many times, that he "grew" his costume. Abby sees a number of Swamp Thing costumes whilst looking for her Swamp Thing; the recent gubernatorial contest popularized the look. In a dark corner, Swamp Thing chances across Pan (for where else would that godling be on this day?) Pan shares an important truth: there would be no gods or demons if the human heart did not have room for them. Then he is off, until next year. Swamp Thing finds his family; all of Chester's friends are reunited. Jo-Jo is sloppily drunk but happy, and new housemate Carl Vinter has found a friend, or perhaps a lover, Troy Washington. Everyone got to spend time with friends and family; what better way to enjoy oneself?
