Astro City: The Dark Age - Book Two

The pressures on the streets of Astro City are ratcheting up on both of the Williams brothers.

Royal, a criminal working for the Playtypus is trying to keep as far from the action on the streets as he can. With the aid of the Pyramid organization, the Playtypus' gang is trying to initiate turf wars between their competition in order to sweep in and scoop up what's left. But as the heroes become darker and more violent, the chances of being killed in the crossfire only increase.

Charles, the police officer, finds himself wedged in between a crooked police precinct, and the Internal Affairs squad looking to clean it up. Charles just wants to be a good cop, and not to rat out his partner and other fellow officers. Alone and despondent since his wife left him, he's got nothing left to live for, except for the strained relationship with his brother.

Will they both survive the summer heat?
