Shocked by the display of power Julie's fragment of the Beta Suit in attacking The Omega, and Julie's inability to control the power inside her, Dillon is ready to leave. The only thing that stops him short is that Julie says something to him that Annie used to say, and calls him by the pet-name that only Annie ever used.

In attempting to learn how she knew that, the suit shocks him in response. Just as the Omega catches up to them again.
