Jack of All Trades
American spy Jack Stiles is sent by Thomas Jefferson to the tiny East Indies island of Palau-Palau where he teams up with British agent and inventor Emilia Rothschild to thwart the efforts of Napoleon and France in that region of the world. While acting as Emilia's man-servant, Jack dons the masked garb of the legendary Daring Dragoon and fights the local French Governor as well as thwarting various other schemes against America. This series starring cult-favorite Bruce Campbell and produced by Sam Raimi combined various factors from both of their series: the use of a historical setting (sorta) and quirky humor that Raimi had made famous with Hercules and Xena, a mix of The Wild Wild West Jules Verne-style tech that was used in Campbell's The Adventures of Brisco County Jr., and the wild stunts that were seen in all of these shows. Airing back to back in syndication with another Raimi production, Cleopatra 2525, Jack... lasted two years.
After Croque installs a racetrack on Pulau-Pulau, Catherine the Great appears claiming her prize horse has been stolen and giving Croque one day to restore him or her fleet will destroy the island.
Emilia and Jack search for a mythical sea monster that has sunk several ships around Pulau-Pulau and find yet another plan to conquer the world, this one by the descendant of Leonardo da Vinci. Slobbish Blackbeard helps them.
Emilia and Jack steal a local idol of the long-dead Walla Walla Bing Bangs from its temple, but discover the person trying to kill them is a member of that tribe. Meanwhile, Croque has found the idol and they must recapture it to reverse the death sentence.
After sampling a special wine, Emilia and Jack wake up in bed together with no memory of how they got there. They discover that Napoleon is planning on sending that wine to all the world leaders to subjugate them. To foil his plan, they must destroy the drugged wine.
When Croque is suddenly arrested for conspiracy to assassinate his brother Napoleon, Emilia has Jack imprisoned to protect the governor while she ferrets out who forged the order.
To prevent Napoleon from sending a Trojan horse Statue of Libery to the U.S., Jack introduces him to Thanksgiving traditions like a football game as cover for placing a bomb.
When Emilia is hit on the head and loses her memory after hiding a stolen land deed, Jack convinces her she is a a fun-loving party girl and lives to regret it as he tries to find the deed.
When Emilia is captured by a visiting sultan to become his 70th wife, Jack poses as a eunuch to free her, but she won't leave without liberating the other wives.
