Ken agrees to go to Hong Kong with Ryu to help find the man responsible for Master Gouken's death and avenge him. In a dream Ryu remembers back to his training days when he was a boy and Akuma challenged Gouken. Although Gouken won, Akuma swore he would return and challenge Gouken once more. It is Akuma whom Ryu believes killed Gouken.

Meanwhile Guile and Chun-Li join forces in their hunt of Bison. Chun-Li tells Guile Bison is responsible for her father's disappearance a year and a half ago and feels if she finds Bison she may find her father. The two also learn that Ryu has travelled to Hong Kong and prepare to travel there.

Bison, also learning of Ryu's movements, dispatches Vega to hunt Ryu down. In his search Vega clashes with E. Honda and a great battle ensures..
